Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship (mandatory for NV1 clearance eligibility)
  • NV1 clearance required for Australian Citizens
  • Trade license or equivalent technical qualification (Electrical, HVAC, IT network or Communications)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a mission-critical or data centre environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and experience with Building Management Systems and Data Center Infrastructure Management platforms
  • Confident communicator with excellent troubleshooting and reporting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, chillers, generators, CRAC units, etc.)
  • Facilitate both scheduled and emergency maintenance with contractors and vendors to ensure uptime, SLA compliance, certification standards, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Supervise contractors and vendors to maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and Method of Procedures (MOPs)
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), track energy efficiency, and respond to fault alarms
  • Conduct daily facility inspections and report on system performance and asset condition
  • Support audits, compliance reporting, and incident investigations
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with OH&S regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interface with customers on operational issues
  • Maintain accurate records, performance data, and vendor reports
