  • Associate Transit Management Analyst: A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and two (2) years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports. One (1) year of experience must have been in the transportation industry; or A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed above, and three (3) years of full-time satisfactory experience as described above, with one (1) year in the transportation industry. Assistant Transit Management Analyst I & II: A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or related area, or a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration. Associate Staff Analyst: A Master’s degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or closely related field, and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management or in a related area; or a Baccalaureate degree and three (3) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described. Staff Analyst I & II: A master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, or urban studies, or a Juris Doctor degree; or a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, fiscal or economic research, management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or an associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits and four years of professional experience in the above areas; or a four-year high school diploma and six years of professional experience; or a combination of education and experience. Special Note: To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, individuals must have, after meeting the minimum requirements, one additional year of professional experience as described above.
Responsibilities
  • Track daily employee availability and absenteeism across Bus Divisions
  • Support onboarding and training of new administrative staff
  • Process and categorize absence letters and employee leave data
  • Prepare reports on absenteeism, sick leave, late slips, and productivity
  • Assist with workforce development tracking and program support
  • Collaborate with managers to improve operations and develop strategies
  • Conduct data analysis and build models to support business decisions
  • Help develop dashboards using Tableau and Power BI
  • Monitor key metrics and progress of strategic initiatives
  • Review audits and summarize findings for compliance
  • Contribute to training curriculum development
