The Role: Balancing Innovation with Integrity

We are an AI-native team. We don’t just build AI; we use it to maximize our output and automate the mundane. We’re looking for a QA Engineer who leans on AI tools to supercharge their own productivity and is excited by the challenge of testing AI-powered systems.

However, we also value "old school" grit. We need someone who can:

• Take Ownership: You’ll have the autonomy to shape our QA culture and standards from the ground up.

• Be the Gatekeeper: You aren't afraid to "put your foot down" if a product isn't ready for primetime.

• Master the Fundamentals: From deep-dive regression testing to supporting complex implementations, you ensure our move-fast culture doesn't break things.

Our Tech & Your Toolkit

We’ve cleared the path with a modern, serverless stack designed for speed: Node.js, TypeScript, SvelteKit, and GCP.

• Automation: You’ll be able to master our Playwright frameworks.

• APIs: You’ll use tools like Postman to ensure our core platforms meet high-quality standards.

• The Future: You’ll get hands-on with Playwright MCP and Agents, with other cutting-edge tools as we ship real-world features into production.

Location & Why You’d Join

We have an office in Manchester City Centre, and while we aren't a "mandatory X days in the office" company, we believe in the power of getting together. We’re looking for Engineers who are excited to head into Manchester when needed to whiteboard, collaborate on ideas, and build rapport in person.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in QA/Software testing with a focus on web applications and APIs.

• Proficiency in Playwright for automated front-end testing.

• Experience with QA on enterprise level products

• An AI-Native Mindset: You already use AI tools to help your workflow or have experience testing AI products.

• Experience with Manual and Exploratory testing - you know when to automate and when to dig in by hand.
