Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods is a required capability.
  • You must be comfortable working in an environment with loud noise and strong smells.
  • Ambulatory skills to perform duties while at hospital.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as lift, carry, move up to 50 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • You must be willing to work special hours including weekends and evening shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client and pet experiences while assisting the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff in guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability of the hospital, and help ensure effective communication with all clients, internal stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Perform the duties of a Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the team when called upon.
  • Ensure quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement, and maximum productivity.
  • Create an environment where a team can deliver quality, efficient and effective veterinary care to pets and foster an environment that engages associates so they do their best and feel good about being part of the team.
  • Provide professional, efficient and exceptional client service, including client education about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs, hospital services, marketing campaigns, and other related information; effectively resolve client issues.
  • Assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs, while proactively planning time off and Continuing Education scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to Banfield dress and grooming guidelines.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
