As a Solutions Principal on the Business Transformation Advisory team, you will play a key role in the GTM positioning and success of Pigment’s EPM solutions. Leveraging your expertise in planning transformation, you will guide our GTM teams and strategic customers to successful outcomes by aligning Pigment’s solutions to tangible business impacts. Key external focus areas include leading executive and strategic customer interactions, facilitating transformational workshops for cross-functional leaders, and authoring targeted POVs as a thought leader. Internally, you will collaborate across the various GTM functions to ensure our sales strategies are resonating with leaders within target accounts and that our sellers are successful in delivering these strategies using a value-based approach to selling.
Responsibilities:
- External / Deal Support: Support Sales Leaders and Account Executives on strategic deals as a Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor. Provide perspectives on market / industry / functional trends, partner on deal strategy development and value-based discovery, and lead value analysis to create a compelling case for change.
- External / Strategic Accounts: Engage with senior business leaders to understand their challenges, goals, and requirements. Leverage your deep industry knowledge and expertise to provide strategic advice and consultative support, demonstrating how Pigment’s solutions can address their specific needs and drive business outcomes. Lead consultative engagements and workshops with customers and prospects to develop a roadmap toward their transformational planning vision.
- External / Thought Leadership: Build credibility in the market as a thought leader on business transformation and business value. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in relevant webinars, conferences, and panels to highlight the business impact of our solutions.
- Internal / GTM Sales Plays: Partner with Product Team and Product Marketing to shape direction and messaging of GTM Sales Plays. Collaborate across your network to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Provide valuable insights and feedback to the Product Team and Product Marketing to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Internal / Enablement at Scale: Empower internal teams to effectively position and sell Pigment’s EPM solutions by evangelizing a value-based approach to selling. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of self-service business value assets, including POV templates, industry thoughtware, ROI calculators, and value frameworks. Partner with Enablement to ensure sellers are equipped to utilize value assets effectively and at scale.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred.
- 8 years of experience in a similar role within the EPM industry with a strong focus on business value & strategy. Consulting experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of EPM processes, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with customers at all levels, from end-users to C-level executives.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and drive initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel globally/regionally as required to engage with customers and attend industry events.
