Position: Associate Engineer-RF

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

• Scope of the role consists of working on and supporting the local RF design team. 

• This position will confirm the intended design with the local market RF engineer and transition it into action. 

• Responsibilities will range among the following: translating RF designs into interconnect diagrams/digital unit diagrams, filing regulatory, issuing operational work orders, updating databases, creating reports, and completing tasks in project tools. 

• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required 2+ years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications’ industry. 

• Familiarity in cell site design and terminology is required. 

• Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field. 

• Prior experience with Excel, Adobe, and Visio are required. Prior experience with Siterra, Atoll, and/or any VZW proprietary tools are a plus. 

• Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.

• Will need to excel working in a team and working on a large number of projects. 

• Candidate will need strong time management skills.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required 2+ years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications’ industry.
