Requirements
- Work with product management and technology counterparts to achieve clear problem definition, identify areas of opportunity and define big ideas and capabilities needed for successful implementation
- Evaluate and define approaches to a strategic user challenge, drawing from methodologies in design thinking, change management, process improvement, innovation and program/product management to achieve desired outcomes
- Define the design approach and lead creative direction throughout the process
- Lead creation of the information architecture, requirement documentation and final UI/UX design deliverables
- Ensure appropriate customer discovery work is completed early in product concepting
- Ideate and create user experience and interface solutions such as user workflows, information architecture and interaction models
- Validate ideas through research, test and learn methodologies and value impact assessments
- Drive the development of strategic CX recommendations for new or incremental offerings and experiences
- Design and facilitate design thinking and innovation workshops to help stakeholders find common understanding and direction
- Coordinate research needs with internal or external teams, driving learning objectives and ensuring quality research outcomes
- Coach and mentor junior UX designers and researchers
- Define and manage project approach, milestones and deliverables
- 6+ years of design-related experience, creating user experiences and user interfaces across form-factor considerations
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Portfolio featuring examples of UX/UI design work required
- Self-motivated with the ability to execute responsibilities in all situations
- Detail-oriented as it applies to project, consulting and design considerations
- Domain expert with the ability to lead, mentor and guide teams and stakeholders
- Deep understanding of experience design-related activities, including information architecture and design strategy, interaction design and visual design
- In-depth knowledge of all user experience software and design tools
- Fluent understanding of web, software and application development process and methodologies
- Experience working on enterprise software platforms is required
- Deep domain knowledge of current technology and design trends related to specialty
