What you will be doing
We are looking to hire an Associate Account Manager with a commercial and customer centric approach to drive significant company growth. Your primary goal will be handling existing company accounts, seeking upsell / cross-sell opportunities, client retention, referrals and extending contractual terms within EMEA.
We are looking for someone to be in the office 2 - 3 days a week.
As an Associate Account Manager, you will
- Obtain a thorough understanding of the company and our offerings in order to educate clients on the benefits of the business
- Build strong relationships with the clients and manage key stakeholders effectively through regular meetings and communication
- Manage relationships with existing clients and their associated companies seeking and acting on any cross sell/ upsell opportunities through a combination of prospecting, prioritising upcoming renewals
- Communicate customer feedback on market and product intelligence to our Product and Strategy teams and the business
- Understanding client requirements, following up any enquiries in order to make sure expectations are managed and met
- Provide valuable referrals to our new business team as the candidate builds relationships with clients and expands their network of industry contacts.
About you
As an Associate Account Manager, you will
- Possess excellent communication skills- both written and verbally
- Be organised and have strong time management skills- ability to prioritise high value and varied tasks
- Have strong stakeholder management skills, being able to build relationships across multiple departments
- Possess a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be a team player who has a nature ability to collaborate with other team members to help where needed, share best practices and industry knowledge etc
- Be customer centric, demonstrating client empathy
- Have an eye for detail, especially when interpreting commercial contract terms
Nice to haves:
- Ideally you will have worked in a business development or sales role previously
- Ideally have experience of PEP-Sanctions/ Transaction Monitoring sales. Please note that this is desirable but not essential.
