Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Two to three years of experience in Learning and Development, Training, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or Behavioral Health is required.
  • Experience facilitating classroom, virtual, and hybrid learning is required.
  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System is required.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Own and continuously improve the New Employee Orientation program, ensuring a consistent onboarding experience aligned with the organization's mission, values, culture, and expectations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation.
  • Ensure new employees complete required onboarding activities and training.
  • Maintain orientation schedules, materials, attendance records, and onboarding learning plans.
  • Partner with Human Resources, hiring managers, and program leadership to support onboarding.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities across departments.
  • Facilitate instructor-led training for employees across clinical, residential, administrative, and support departments.
  • Coordinate and deliver required annual compliance training.
  • Develop and update curriculum, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and other learning resources.
  • Coordinate classroom logistics, technology, supplies, training locations, and virtual learning sessions.
  • Coordinate internal guest presenters and external learning opportunities.
  • Support implementation of leadership development programming.
  • Provide coaching and guidance using adult learning principles and behavioral health best practices.
  • Administer the Learning Management System, including Relias or another LMS.
  • Assign required learning plans and training curricula.
  • Monitor mandatory training compliance across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee training records and supporting documentation.
  • Troubleshoot learner and manager system issues.
  • Generate compliance, completion, and learning reports for leadership.
  • Assist with system improvements and ongoing LMS optimization.
  • Partner with Quality, Compliance, the Office of Mental Health, the Office of Addiction Services and Supports, program leadership, and other departments to meet regulatory training requirements.
  • Maintain documentation supporting audits, surveys, accreditation reviews, and regulatory inspections.
  • Identify training compliance gaps and assist departments with corrective follow-up.
  • Support annual training calendars and regulatory education initiatives.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to create engaging and practical learning content.
  • Support organizational initiatives through education, communication, and training.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Quality and Compliance, program leadership, subject matter experts, and external training partners.
  • Coordinate external professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with implementing new systems, policies, and organizational changes requiring employee education.
  • Participate on committees and workgroups as assigned.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, surveys, assessments, completion metrics, and performance data.
  • Recommend improvements to curriculum, learning materials, and delivery methods.
  • Stay current on adult learning practices, instructional technology, and behavioral health workforce development.
  • Assist with special projects related to employee engagement, onboarding, workforce development, and organizational learning.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Apply Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Office of Mental Health, Department of Health, and other regulatory learning objectives and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Ethics, Compliance and Quality to identify and address training-related compliance concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Learning and Development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in behavioral health or human services is preferred.
  • Experience using Relias Learning Management System is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Office of Mental Health, Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Department of Health, and other regulatory training requirements is preferred.
  • Experience developing instructional materials is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating agency-wide training initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience supporting adult learners is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other virtual learning platforms is preferred.
