Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
  • 10 years’ experience in the field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with QAD and Business Analyzer reporting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Responsibilities
  • Interpret and enforce global accounts receivable credit policy for customer hold releases and credit limits, escalating matters as necessary for proper approval.
  • Manage the activities of United States accounts receivable personnel, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of credit, cash receipts, and collections activities.
  • Approve or reject open customer accounts, establish customer credit limits, handle special credit arrangements according to internal policy, review collection reports, and evaluate delinquent accounts before assigning debt status.
  • Develop, establish, maintain, and ensure consistent application of accounts payable processes and procedures, including accounts payable manuals, 1099 processes, ACH transfers, and department metrics.
  • Manage the activities of United States accounts payable personnel, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of invoices, three-way matching, cost variance reviews, disbursement transactions, monthly closing, vendor dispute resolution, daily unmatched-receipt reviews, and the company purchasing card program.
  • Develop a highly skilled and well-trained staff through training and mentoring to ensure efficient and effective management of all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strengthened internal control policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, safeguard assets, minimize manual effort, and maintain compliance.
  • Drive a cohesive cross-functional approach for the team and its interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in hiring, staff career development, performance reviews, enforcement of attendance and work rules, and counseling or disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide required data, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits.
