Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Cognitive Psychology, English, Technical Writing, Communications, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience developing performance enablement solutions or managing programs, projects, and teams within a training or learning environment.
  • In-depth functional and technical knowledge related to capability and enablement products.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Deep understanding of methodology and product development processes across the product lifecycle.
  • Well-developed risk analysis and mitigation skills.
  • Ability to lead a distributed team with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts proactively.
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, and design skills.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
  • Experience with human resources information system and applicant tracking system ecosystems, such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Taleo.
  • Familiarity with technology configuration, gap assessment, and automation opportunities.
  • Exposure to recruitment transformation programs, operating model design, and hypercare or go-live support.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methods.
  • Experience working with global teams and across time zones.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Understanding of market and competitor dynamics for high-volume or hourly hiring, including benchmarking and leading practices.
Responsibilities
  • Implement the overall instructional design of learning products developed in the capability development center.
  • Manage all stages of capability enabler architecture, design, build, and test for capability development center products.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and supervise 6 to 20 professionals.
  • Establish cross-project procedures and policies.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to instructional design team members on learning design obstacles.
  • Design products, collaborate on solution options and tradeoffs, estimate costs, create approaches and timelines, create resource plans, identify risks and mitigation plans, identify sponsor expectations, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
  • Adapt and apply standard methods and best practices to meet client needs and preferences.
  • Create budgets and work plans or task lists and oversee adherence.
  • Synthesize and distill key findings from complex information.
  • Manage and direct design, content, and media team leads for technical and non-technical aspects of projects.
  • Manage course testing and implement feedback as appropriate.
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with deployment, delivery, support, and other teams to ensure clear communication and a smooth transition from development to deployment or delivery.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, solutions management, and business interlock teams.
  • Follow up with clients and customers to ensure requirements have been met.
  • Involve individuals with different perspectives and areas of expertise to analyze issues or formulate approaches.
  • Assess and address both symptoms and root causes of problems.
  • Ensure proposed conflict solutions address the underlying issue.
  • Monitor and control development efforts with regard to scope, process, quality, effort, risk, and timeline.
  • Manage resolution of project-wide issues or issues that cannot be resolved by team leads.
  • Assign or delegate work to appropriate team leads.
  • Encourage reuse of architectures and processes and adapt and improve them to meet requirements.
  • Provide status reports to the program director or client sponsors as required.
  • Identify project resource needs, define team-member roles and expectations, and ensure resources are used effectively.
  • Provide team members with clear direction and an understanding of responsibilities to support an efficient team.
  • Manage small or medium-sized projects and coach other project managers.
  • Supervise the day-to-day work and quality of a key area such as learning, technology, or testing.
  • Act as career counselor for people at level C and below.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
