Requirements
  • At least 5 years of business-to-business sales experience selling complex supply chain solutions.
  • Experience working with aerospace original equipment manufacturer spares and maintenance, repair, and overhaul divisions.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management in sales, operational, or program management roles.
  • Existing relationships in the aerospace, space and defense industries.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and technologies.
  • Experience presenting to, selling to, or influencing C-level executives.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to precisely manage a complex, multi-departmental sales process.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for sales calls and customer visits.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, extract actionable insights, and translate them into requirements and strategic recommendations.
  • Knowledge of real-time data analytics, visibility tools, and supply chain optimization methodologies.
  • Experience creating and deploying raw material commodity strategies and associated strategic sourcing.
  • Ability to build relationships with key accounts through professional networking and social platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and influencing decision-making at all organizational levels.
  • Experience creating convincing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to solve customer issues and propose meaningful, long-term solutions.
  • Proven experience in proposal, project management, and delivery, including managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and departments, build strong relationships, and drive alignment toward common goals.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Access to export-controlled technical data or technology is required, subject to obtaining any required government export authorization.
Responsibilities
  • Convert viable prospects and leads into customers while owning the sales conversation, proposal, and negotiation process.
  • Build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to deliver against budgets and sales goals.
  • Update activity and customer details in the Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management system to drive visibility, accountability, and coordination with colleagues.
  • Own account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive written proposals responding to customer requirements and requests for proposals on tight timelines with Operations, Finance, and Solution Design teams.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for supply chain solutions across multiple industries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored client solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance product offerings based on customer needs and market demands.
