Requirements
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • 3+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience
  • Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Responsibilities
  • Define go-to-market strategy for Amazon Bedrock and lead cross-functional initiatives to expand existing markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct market sizing and build an opportunity pipeline with counterparts across the globe.
  • Work with customers to understand technical requirements and create content to train field teams.
  • Drive industry thought-leadership and work with product teams to define new features; identify partners.
  • Drive development of the GTM plan for building and scaling adoption of Amazon Bedrock; interact with customers directly to understand business problems; work with model providers and solutions architects to define and implement scalable GenAI solutions.
  • Collaborate with account teams and product teams to unblock and drive production implementations.
  • Interact with AWS teams and communicate with executive management; represent team to top customers; promote best practices for operating on AWS.
  • Look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across industries or customer sets to accelerate innovation.

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience building sales plays and playbooks, prospecting for, advancing and closing sales pipeline to drive adoption of products/services/capabilities in ML, AI or Analytics across a large customer base with demonstrable results delivered
  • Experience advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams
  • Experience in managing multiple initiatives and campaigns simultaneously (customer engagements, webinars, sales asset development, etc.) working across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, Solution Architects, Account teams)
  • Experience teaching account teams how to sell technical products and services
  • Experience managing, tracking, and communicating customer and market insights and objective business metrics and risks

Amazon adds free cloud gaming to Fire TV via PHYND's ad-supported service

Amazon's Texas data centre set to become America's biggest polluter with 33M tons CO2 yearly

Amazon is constructing a natural gas power plant in West Texas permitted to emit up to 33 million tonnes of CO2 annually, potentially double the output of America's current dirtiest power station. The facility will exclusively serve an adjacent Amazon Web Services AI data centre. Developed by Pacifico Energy with Amazon financing, the plant features 35 gas turbines and up to 7.65 gigawatts of capacity. The permitted emission ceiling of 33 million tonnes compares with roughly 16 million tonnes from Alabama's James H. Miller Jr. coal plant, currently the nation's highest emitter. Satellite imagery from July 2026 shows active land-clearing, with construction permits filed in August 2026. First power is targeted for Q1 2027.
