Requirements
  • Deep understanding of U.S. Treasury regulations, including Chapters 3, 4, and 61, with familiarity with information reporting requirements for Forms 1099, 1042-S, and 1042.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading U.S. tax reporting operations for institutional clients across Global Markets, Trade & Credit, and Treasury products.
  • Ability to perform complex reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues through structured, analytical approaches.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage people and regulatory deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail across processes and deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks, issues, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the U.S. IRW Tax Withholding and Reporting function, including reporting under Chapters 3, 4, and 61 and facilitating 1099, 1042, and 1042-S statements for Global Markets, Treasury, and Credit products.
  • Coordinate globally with colleagues in GBAM Operations Tax & Control, GBAM Tax Change, GBAM Technology, Global Operations, and Global Tax Policy & Compliance.
  • Service tax-related client inquiries and escalations.
  • Drive tax initiatives and tax regulatory implementations in partnership with GBAM Tax Change and GBAM Technology.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency and manage business change.
  • Serve as an escalation point to resolve broad and complex operational issues.
  • Manage expenses, reporting, and forecasting for the operations areas managed, as well as compensation decisioning, talent planning, and performance management at a senior level.
  • Manage a large team or multiple smaller teams across one or more sites, regions, or product lines in an operations support function.
  • Support functions carrying substantial risk of exposure and potential loss with significant impact on major corporate customer relationships.
  • Model an inclusive environment for employees and clients aligned with company Great Place to Work goals.
  • Demonstrate deep process knowledge, operational excellence, and innovation through simplicity, data-based decision-making, and continuous improvement.

IDEX extends $800M credit facility maturity to 2031

IDEX Corporation has amended its revolving credit facility, extending the maturity date to September 3, 2031, from the previous November 1, 2027. The facility maintains its $800 million principal amount. The agreement, finalised on September 3, 2026, allows for up to $100 million in letters of credit and $50 million in same-day swingline loans. IDEX may request additional lending commitments, capped at a $400 million increase. Bank of America serves as administrative agent, with JPMorgan Chase Bank, PNC Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank as co-syndication agents. The proceeds will fund working capital and general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt. The agreement includes standard covenants for senior unsecured credit facilities, featuring a quarterly-tested leverage ratio and restrictions on liens and mergers. Voluntary prepayments are permitted without penalty.

Anthropic secures $15B credit facility, expects $65B revenue ahead of IPO

Anthropic, the developer behind Claude AI chatbot, has secured a $15 billion credit facility ahead of its initial public offering. Major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup are backing the arrangement. The facility significantly exceeds last year's $2.5 billion loan and surpasses the company's roughly $10 billion target. Anthropic now expects over $65 billion in annualised revenue, representing more than a sevenfold increase from its pace at the end of last year. Additional banks including Barclays and Bank of America have joined the arrangement. The timing coincides with renewed activity in the US IPO market, positioning Anthropic for a substantial market debut.

Bank of America sets $600 target for Dell after $95B AI server backlog reveals 41% upside

Dell Technologies reported $60.9 billion in AI-server orders during its fiscal second quarter, with revenue of $16.4 billion and a backlog reaching $95 billion. The backlog grew 85% sequentially from $51.3 billion the previous quarter. Bank of America analyst Wamsi Mohan raised his price target to $600 from $505, implying 41% upside from Dell's revised goal of $425 set on 1 September. Mohan maintains a Buy rating. Dell has converted $131.7 billion of AI demand into orders over the past 12 months. Its AI customer count jumped from about 5,000 to over 6,500 in one quarter. The company raised its fiscal 2027 AI server sales projection to $74 billion from $60 billion. It also increased its full-year total sales outlook midpoint by $25 billion to $192 billion.

Digi International expands credit facility to $350M with improved terms and lower borrowing costs

Digi International has expanded its senior secured revolving credit facility to $350 million, up from $250 million. The Internet of Things products and services provider also increased its accordion feature, giving it access to total potential borrowing capacity of up to $480 million. The new facility, maturing in August 2031, features improved pricing with SOFR margins ranging from 125 to 262.5 basis points, compared to 135 to 310 basis points previously. The maximum total net leverage ratio covenant increased from 3.0x to 3.50x, providing additional flexibility for strategic acquisitions. BMO Bank serves as administrative agent, with BMO Capital Markets and Bank of America as joint bookrunners. Digi may use borrowings for working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions, and general corporate purposes.
