Requirements
  • The candidate must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The candidate must have a strong sense of timeliness and reliability when managing a queue of discrete tasks.
  • The candidate must have clear, professional written communication skills, particularly over email.
  • The candidate must be comfortable with, or willing to quickly learn, basic command-line or terminal use.
  • The candidate must be able to follow documented procedures precisely and consistently.
  • A background check is required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor a shared inbox and respond to incoming work-item requests promptly and professionally.
  • Read each request carefully to identify the correct productionized script and inputs to use.
  • Check outputs for completeness and obvious errors before delivering them.
  • Communicate with requestors and the Data Services Engineer team about status, delays, or questions, and escalate out-of-scope requests to a Data Services Engineer or the Director of Data Support.
Desired Qualifications
  • Interest in progressive politics, campaigns, or voter data.
  • Some prior exposure to Terminal or a Unix command-line interface.
  • Interest in eventually growing into a Data Services Engineer or similar technical role.
