FICO provides data analytics and decision management tools that help financial institutions assess credit risk and detect fraud. The company’s primary product, the FICO score, works by transforming consumer credit report data into a numerical value that predicts the likelihood of a borrower repaying a loan. Unlike many competitors, FICO’s scoring system serves as the primary industry standard for consumer lending in the United States, integrated directly into software that manages the entire customer lifecycle. The company’s goal is to provide lenders with the predictive tools necessary to make informed, data-driven decisions regarding account origination, marketing, and risk management.

Alogram Inc. has joined FICO Marketplace, making its fraud intelligence offerings available to FICO Platform customers worldwide. The suite includes Account Forensics, Behavioral Intelligence, Email Intelligence, Identity Intelligence, Purchase Forensics, and Telecom Intelligence. Optimal Blue, a mortgage capital markets platform, has integrated FICO Score 10T into its technology, marking a significant step in the adoption of FICO's most predictive credit scoring model across the mortgage industry. The integration enables lenders to price and decision non-agency loans using FICO Score 10T within Optimal Blue's product, pricing and eligibility engine, as well as mortgage servicing rights valuation and hedging capabilities. Optimal Blue supports approximately 60% of the top 50 US mortgage lenders. FICO Score 10T is currently available at no cost alongside Classic FICO through the FICO Score 10T Free Access Programme, allowing lenders to conduct side-by-side testing without additional fees. The integration extends to the secondary market, where investors and servicers can leverage the score for portfolio assessment.
FICO has partnered with Pindrop to integrate AI-powered fraud detection into the FICO Platform. The agreement embeds Pindrop Protect to deliver real-time, multi-signal fraud intelligence for financial institutions, including deepfake detection and consortium intelligence within FICO decisioning workflows. The collaboration positions FICO as an orchestration layer for high-risk interactions such as account opening, wire transfers and call centre authentication. By hosting Pindrop Protect in the FICO Marketplace, the company aims to make advanced fraud controls function as a plug-in for banks and telecoms. The partnership expands FICO's role beyond credit scoring into voice, device and behavioural signals, adding another data-rich partner alongside existing arrangements with AWS and Plaid.
FICO is hosting free credit education workshops at select Citi branches nationwide throughout 2026 through its Score A Better Future programme. The workshops aim to help individuals in underserved communities understand credit, budgeting and financial planning for major life milestones. The series will launch on 28 May 2026 at Citi's flagship branch in San Francisco, with additional events planned in Florida, New York and Illinois. Attendees will learn to read credit reports, understand FICO Score factors and receive guidance from on-site financial specialists.
