TuSimple was founded in 2015 with the goal of bringing the top minds in the world together to achieve the dream of a driverless truck solution. With a foundation in computer vision, algorithms, mapping, and Artificial Intelligence, TuSimple is working to create the first global commercially viable autonomous truck driving platform! 

Responsibilities

• Formulate ill-defined problems with deep learning architect to solve challenging scenarios for self-driving truck business with advanced programming languages. 
• Build benchmark systems to test the algorithms and models with proper methodology.
• Closely collaborate with other teams to conduct system design, integration and tests.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a M.S./Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or other related field of study.
• Research experience in deep learning and familiarity with machine learning tools such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, or JAX.
• Experience in the entire pipeline of applying machine learning technology including data analysis, feature engineering, model testing, evaluation and deployment. 
• Strong coding skills in C++ or Python.

Preferred

• Experience of applying machine learning and data driven technology in autonomous driving industry.
• Publications in related conferences and/or journal.
