Requirements
  • Time Management and multi-tasking is an absolute must. Our business works around many tight deadlines, and you’ll often be juggling many duties at the same time.
  • Team Player with excellent and direct verbal and written communication and follow-up skills.
  • A/E/C industry experience a huge plus, but not required.
  • Flexibility to attend the occasional after-hours events, as needed.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Must be a self-starter, willing to pick up the ball and run with it to move things forward with minimal supervision. Ability to work and problem solve independently.
  • 2+ years of working experience.
  • A Business Degree in marketing is highly desirable.
  • A/E/C industry experience a huge plus.
Responsibilities
  • Being the front line in properly setting up sales opportunities in our CRM software to ensure proper tracking. In addition, you’ll be expected to run weekly reports to touch base with responsible staff to make sure the opportunities are on track and followed up on. This may involve you communicating directly with the client and/or other internal departments to move the opportunity forward.
  • Working with our Marketing Department and acting as a liaison between Marketing and the BD/Professional team to make sure formal proposals have all the proper information to be submitted.
  • Gaining knowledge and creating a central place on our server to save and retrieve important UES documents and information needed for prequalification and helping our BD/Professional Team complete prequalification process.
  • Occasionally calling other A/E/C firms from interested bidders lists to ascertain whether they are pursuing targeted opportunities and determining whether there is the possibility of UES teaming with them on the opportunities.
  • Attending various industry specific Networking Events, Trade Shows, and Mixers to represent UES and passing possible leads on to our BD/Professional teams for follow up.
  • Maintaining and updating the calendars of our BD/Professional teams with upcoming networking events, seminars, trade shows, mixers and other events.
  • Making travel arrangements for out-of-town events attended by our BD/Professional team members.
  • Other exciting and NEVER boring duties as needed by our sales and professional team!
