Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields
  • 8+ years consulting, compliance, or industry experience
  • Experience with emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports
  • Experience in Project Management of air quality permitting and compliance projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and present information regarding emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications and regulatory compliance reports
  • Assist clients with sustainability reporting and achieving Environmental, Social, Governance goals
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Compile permit application documents
  • Prepare compliance reports
  • Meet and coordinate with clients to obtain and understand project information
  • Communicate with regulatory personnel
  • Evaluate control technologies and emission reduction options for client facilities
  • Mentor and provide technical training to junior staff and engineers
  • Work with an established technical staff and participate in project delivery
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of New Source Review procedures
  • Experience with Best Available Control Technology analyses
  • Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, and power industries
  • Familiarity with ProMax
  • Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD
