We’re expanding content development for Ellevation Strategies - and investing in our classroom instructional videos that demonstrate how to use Ellevation instructional activities with multilingual students (MLs) to drive outcomes for students.
As an Instructional Content Specialist joining our Education Solutions team, you’ll play a key role in expanding our catalog of videos that show Ellevation activities in action in classrooms across the country. Over time, you’ll be expected to take ownership of the short-term coaching of teachers who will be featured in our instructional videos - building relationships as well as working with our video production vendor and other internal stakeholders at Ellevation.
We are looking for an individual who can bring knowledge of and passion for high-quality instruction for MLs - and can balance that with the demands of scaling high-quality video examples. You’ll be responsible for working with educators and school leaders to plan and execute a successful multi-day video shoot that results in the development of a number of videos. And, most importantly, you will help Ellevation make a direct impact on how MLs succeed in classrooms across the country.

-Proven ability to identify high-quality instruction and coach teachers to improve instruction
-Strong eye for detail and consistency
-Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders - principals, teachers, K-12 students, and more technical folks on a film crew
-Adept at balancing competing priorities and needs across projects
Within 1 Month You Will:
- Build background knowledge and perspective on content within Ellevation Strategies
- Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders and collaborators to fuel future collaboration and problem-solving
Within 3 Months You Will:
- Assist in working with a school, its leaders, teachers, and the video production company to film a multi-day instructional video shoot
- Work with the video production company to create a number of consistent videos after filming that meet Ellevation’s high standards
Within 6 Months You will:
- Independently plan and complete a multi-day instructional video shoot and ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent videos after filming.
Within 12 Months You Will:
- Scale the production of high-quality videos for Ellevation Strategies, deepening relationships in schools and across the Ellevation team.
About You:
- You have 5 or more years of experience with K-12 instruction for MLs, a track record of creating and delivering consistent materials for instructional coaching, and/or scaleable professional development.
- Experience with video production and development, with an eye for quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- You are a natural leader and are able to inspire others while building strong relationships quickly.
- Strong experience managing multiple projects, workflows, and budgets
- You demonstrate an eagerness to learn from other
- Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred
- The ability to travel up to 50% is required
