Custom Software Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Manager in Irving, TX, and the job duties are as follows:

Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications.
Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components.
Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications.
Architect development strategy for applications and components.
Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones.
Build deployment plan, including the development plan and schedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline.
Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements.
Team with stakeholders on application and component design to secure buy in.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

Utilizing Git and SVN;
Utilizing SQL with SQL Server and MySQL;
Utilizing DevOps and Agile methodology along with writing unit test cases;
Architectural and design decisions, including improvements for ongoing performance issues;
Project management, including creating work plans for teams and tracking issues and risks;
Leading system integrations and production maintenance teams;
Using the Salesforce cloud platform for building cloud applications using Apex programming language to write application and business logic frameworks;
Building web components using HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Javascript; and
Conducting requirement gathering and business impact analysis.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
