Onebrief makes military planning seamless and represents a shift in paradigm for future military decisions. It is an all-in-one tool that supports both the creative and process-oriented aspects of military planning. In Onebrief, planners use maps, boards, diagrams, timelines, slides and written products to create their plans—all while sharing a common database. Everything stays in sync, in real time. Our approach has been refined and validated through hundreds of user experiments.

Our product is currently in broad use at 8 of the largest military headquarters in the world. 3 of the 4 biggest operational plans in the US are currently built with Onebrief. Last year, we achieved 100% gross retention and 158% net retention—our revenue grew 4x and reached double-digit millions. What you will achieve

As a product designer at Onebrief, your job will be to solve complex military planning problems and help develop a seamless, end-to-end planning tool.

You will have the opportunity to travel and partner with military planners from around the world, empathize with their needs, and translate those into design solutions. You will have the support of a team of engineers, product managers, and designers. Your work will span across UX, UI, and user research and will cover all facets of the product, from defining ground-up new features to shaping our design system.

Most importantly, you’ll work as a true partner to our product managers and founders, with plenty of flexibility to reshape your role over time as needed for yours and our company’s success.

You’ll report directly to Rafa, our CTO and co-founder.

About You

The ideal candidate has worked on B2B/SaaS projects where innovative design was vital to their success. We are especially interested in projects involving aspects of creative support, data visualization, or modern collaboration.

Qualifications

• You are a “full-stack” designer with tons of UI and UX experience (5+ years)

• You can discover what users truly need even when they don’t understand it themselves

• You take ownership and always finds a way to move important design initiatives forward

• You can handle HTML, CSS and some Javascript (enough to code finishing touches, small improvements and prototypes yourself)
