VENU secures $20M bridge loan from Ryan, LLC to fund Texas amphitheatre construction

Venu Holding Corporation has secured a $20 million bridge loan facility with Ryan, LLC to fund construction of its Sunset Amphitheater in McKinney, Texas. The 20,000-seat entertainment venue is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2027. The facility will bridge VENU to permanent financing, expected to close in the third quarter of fiscal 2026. This arrangement will fully fund the remaining construction costs whilst avoiding shareholder dilution and keeping the asset on the company's balance sheet. Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library announces gift from ryan to underwrite interactive Whistle Stop Tour exhibit.

Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library announces gift from ryan to underwrite interactive Whistle Stop Tour exhibit. MEDORA, N.D. (June 15, 2026) - The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (TRPL) is proud to announce a significant new partnership with Ryan, a leading global tax services and software firm, to fully underwrite the Library's Whistle Stop Tour museum's interactive experience. As the capstone of the Library's Path to the Presidency gallery, the Whistle-Stop Photo recreates a renowned part of Roosevelt's 1903 tour to connect with Americans in 25 states across 14,000 miles in a specialized private railcar, the Elysian. The experience will provide attendees with the opportunity to build their own campaign platform and choose the issues and values they would have as pillars of their personal run for the presidency. Participants will step onto the back of a recreated train car as a simulated crowd cheers them on, and a camera captures their best presidential poses reminiscent of Roosevelt's famous whistle-stop campaign. Each participant will receive a memorable and shareable keepsake of their campaign. "G. Brint Ryan and the team at Ryan have given us something rare - the chance to put visitors inside the story, not just in front of it," said Edward F. O'Keefe, CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. "When you step onto that train car and feel the crowd cheering, you're not watching history. You're participating in it. That's exactly the kind of civic spark we hope every participant leaves Medora carrying with them. We're deeply grateful to Ryan for making this experience possible." Participants will see their campaign come to life, as their image and each of the unique campaign exposures are compiled into a 15-second video. By simply scanning their QR code in the gallery, the participant carries home a reminder of their experience. "Ryan is proud to support the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library and the Whistle Stop Tour gallery," said G. Brint Ryan, Chairman and CEO at Ryan. "As we reflect on our country's 250th birthday, there has never been a more important time to ensure that we all 'get into the arena' and participate in our communities and democracy. These are values at Ryan and values President Roosevelt embodied." With the support of transformative corporate partners like Ryan, the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library will serve as a premier national hub for education, leadership and conservation. About the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Respected leaders and experts in tax, Chronis and Travis step into these roles with deep industry expertise and knowledge of Ryan's business. Together, they will lead Ryan's strategy for the Americas with a shared vision for innovation and operational excellence, strengthening the Firm's ability to deliver exceptional client value while continuing to invest in its people and future growth. "Damon and Matt have each played an important role in shaping Ryan into the Firm we are today," said G. Brint Ryan, Chairman and CEO at Ryan. "Their longstanding tenures reflect years of trusted leadership and a deep commitment to our culture and clients. I have had the privilege of watching them both grow within the organization and consistently lead with integrity, vision, and purpose. As they take on these expanded roles, I am excited to see the impact their partnership will have on our team members, the clients we serve around the world, and Ryan's future." Chronis's journey at Ryan spans more than 27 years and reflects the strategic vision and client-first mindset that continue to define the Firm today. Joining Ryan in 1999 upon graduating from the University of New Mexico, Chronis began his career in the Sales and Use Tax practice and quickly established himself as a problem solver and trusted advisor. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in building and expanding several of Ryan's industry-leading tax practices, including pioneering work in fuel tax exemptions and ticket excise tax strategies that have led to more than one billion dollars in tax savings. His leadership trajectory has been defined by a relentless focus on outcomes, with a leadership philosophy of "listen and learn first." As President, Americas, Chronis oversees Ryan's business across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, focused on driving regional growth, operational alignment, and financial performance. His priorities include the following: * Leading Ryan's growth strategy across the Americas, including market expansion, acquisitions, and client development initiatives * Aligning regional and functional leadership teams around shared business priorities, operational excellence, and long-term strategic objectives * Overseeing financial performance across the Americas while driving scalability and sustained value creation for clients and stakeholders * Serving as a key connector between regional execution and Ryan's broader global strategy to ensure consistent alignment across the enterprise "We're entering an exciting period for Ryan where we can truly serve our purpose at scale," said Damon Chronis, President, Americas. "We have the best team in tax, bar none. Our domain expertise, combined with our technology capabilities, means we can support clients across the globe with unmatched capacity and further strengthen our reputation for excellence." Travis's career at Ryan reflects both the entrepreneurial opportunity and collaborative spirit that have fueled the Firm's growth for more than three decades. Travis first joined Ryan as an intern in 2002, holding roles in the Firm's Severance Tax practice from its earliest stages. After joining and ultimately leading EnerTax, he returned to Ryan in 2015 following the Firm's acquisition of the business, where he integrated and expanded one of Ryan's most successful specialty practices. Travis is known for his operational discipline, transparent and direct leadership style, and commitment to the next generation of tax professionals. His leadership approach - grounded in empowering high performers, relentless prioritization, and "giving good ideas a try" - has cultivated teams that consistently deliver strong client results while creating meaningful career opportunities across the Firm. As President, U.S. Operations, Travis leads the day-to-day operations of Ryan's U.S. business, with responsibility for translating enterprise strategy into operational execution and business performance. His priorities include the following: * Driving operational execution across the U.S. business to deliver strong financial performance and client service excellence * Partnering closely with the executive leadership team on strategic planning, business priorities, investments, acquisitions, and operations * Enhancing efficiency, accountability, and execution across Ryan's U.S. operations * Ensuring Ryan's U.S. business remains aligned with enterprise objectives, operational standards, and the Firm's long-term strategic vision "Ryan has always been a place where people with drive and ideas can build something meaningful - not just for clients, but for their own careers and families," said Matt Travis, President, U.S. Operations.
