- Current student pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2024 and June 2025
- Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case to employ you now or the future (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Coursework or projects with real-time embedded/operating system
- Fluency with programming languages such as C/C++
- Skills in test development, creating test plans, and developing automation software
- Interest in HDD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry is a plus
- Learn and develop protocol-based firmware using C/C++ and Python
- Work with team members to support and enhance CI test infrastructure
- Triage and debug complex firmware bugs
- Develop firmware specification documents
