Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and operations management, including at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in multinational environments.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale operations and manufacturing product launches.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex agreements and partnerships.
  • Experience in Lean, Change Management, Manufacturing Systems, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, and implementing large scalable manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in electrical, energy, or related industrial sectors.
  • Ability to travel 20–40%, including some international travel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing program governance frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting standards.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks across multiple manufacturing programs.
  • Provide regular executive-level reporting as required.
  • Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Project Managers responsible for New Product Introductions, capacity expansions, and new manufacturing operations across multiple initiatives.
  • Lead the cross-functional manufacturing support team, including Safety, Quality, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Planning and Scheduling, and Continuous Improvement, to deliver required outputs for product development initiative launch plans.
  • Support Make versus Buy decisions for manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing infrastructure capacity plans to support long-term sales forecasts.
  • Oversee the integration of new capital equipment into existing or new manufacturing plants, leading cross-functional delivery across manufacturing and ancillary teams.
  • Lead investigations and recommendations for new technology insertion that impacts manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Provide engineering insight and feedback for Design for Manufacturability to improve operational efficiency and reduce rework and scrap.
  • Lead manufacturing financial objectives and manage CapEx, COGS, and ROI strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure operational readiness and compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Support the design and development of methodologies to track and understand quality concerns in the manufacturing process.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and business technology to provide visibility into manufacturing process flow and operational key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate decision-making using the Choosing By Advantages Decision Making System methods.
  • Drive the application of Lean principles in daily management and related deliverables, systems, and processes.
  • Facilitate adoption of new systems, processes, methods, and projects through change-management methods such as ADKAR.
  • Support the bid and proposal process as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Master of Business Administration degree is a plus.
