Requirements
  • Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use and read calipers.
  • Basic math and English skills to complete paperwork.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform math skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and quality control.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of machine operator experience.
  • Six months of setup operator experience.
  • Good manual dexterity and agility.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around heat, toxic fumes, greases, and lubricants.
Responsibilities
  • Set up thermoforming machines for operation according to job specifications.
  • Mount dies and molds and load rolls of raw materials into the machine.
  • Operate the machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintain continuous operation.
  • Perform troubleshooting and quality control checks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
  • Complete required job tickets.
  • Work with Packers/Inspectors to resolve quality issues as needed.
  • Direct Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when the machine is down for troubleshooting or setup.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Keep accurate daily box counts and run the specified number of parts on each job.
  • Know and verify the specification requirements of each part.
  • Maintain good working relationships with inspectors and operators.
  • Assist in setting up machines as needed.
  • Perform other assigned work duties or functions.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of previous production line experience preferred.
  • Experience as a skilled manufacturing operator.
  • Willingness to learn and perform other required tasks.
  • Good leadership skills.
