Quality & Patient Safety Specialist – Full Time – Days – Brooklyn
In this essential role, you will lead quality and patient safety initiatives by providing expert consulting, data analysis, process improvement facilitation, and program management to key stakeholders. You’ll play a critical role in developing and enhancing programs that uphold our high standards for Quality and Patient Safety, ensuring exceptional care for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Researching, collecting, and analyzing key data to drive strategic decision-making
✔ Supporting quality and patient safety initiatives that align with hospital-wide goals
✔ Collaborating with teams across departments to implement performance improvements
This position is based at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with potential travel to other NYP sites as needed. Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Preferred Criteria
- Master's degree
- Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD)
- Perioperative experience
- PMP or Six-Sigma/Lean certification
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Strong data analytics skills
Required Criteria
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in Quality and Performance Improvement

Salary Range:
$123,500-$161,000/Annual
