Responsibilities
  • Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of the students for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
  • Ensure activities and excursions are conducted according to the highest standards of health and safety and child safeguarding.
  • Manage and deliver on-site activity sessions that support students' life-skills development.
  • Manage and lead off-site excursions that support students' life-skills development.
  • Maximize student and group-leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Lead, supervise, motivate, and engage students in activities and excursions.
  • Promote the Activities Programme enthusiastically.
  • Ensure proper preparation and setup for on-site and off-site activities.
  • Prepare, plan, and accompany students on excursions.
  • Maintain student discipline, safety, and wellbeing standards.
  • Assist with general day-to-day tasks as directed by management.
  • Work in a manner that promotes student safety and wellbeing.
  • Perform residential supervision duties, including supervision during meals and bedtime, as requested by the Centre Manager.
  • Complete preparation time according to requirements established by direct supervisors to support delivery of the activities programme.
  • Help manage and maintain activity materials, which may include lifting equipment.
  • Comply with the company's Code of Conduct and applicable local policies and operating procedures concerning academic matters, wellbeing, and child safeguarding.
  • Cooperate fully with all health and safety provisions, including implementing and complying with control measures arising from risk assessments and participating in and completing relevant health and safety training.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in summer schools, preferably in a multicultural environment.
  • Work experience or qualifications in hospitality.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • A valid first-aid certificate.
  • Specialization in sports coaching, theatre, or dance.
