Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience OR a master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, and/or procurement
  • 9+ years of supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, and/or procurement may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must have FAR/DFARS experience
  • Experience building teams and interfacing/ collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government DoD security clearance at the Secret level and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Drive scope definition and implementation of strategies across multiple categories & programs
  • Prepares bid packages, analyzes and evaluates quotations, performs price analyses, negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions, and executes agreements.
  • Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations
  • Apply standard Aerospace & Defense purchasing / procurement methodology to spend categories to achieve organizational objectives, best value for the enterprise, and achievement of target return on investments (ROI).
  • Support sector initiatives/ special projects as required
  • Establish vendor managed inventory (VMI), long-term agreements, strategic agreements, blanket agreements, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
  • Monitor market dynamics and communicates changes that affect internal customer needs
  • Manage internal and external relationships and supplier partnerships
