LVT launches Live Unit Surround multi-camera system for full-site security coverage

LiveView Technologies has launched Live Unit Surround, a wall- or roof-mounted multi-camera security system designed for comprehensive building perimeter coverage. The solution, unveiled at ISC West in Las Vegas, features between two and four heads per system with one to three cameras per head. Surround addresses sites where deploying multiple mobile units is cost-prohibitive or space-constrained. The system offers flexible deployment with customisable cameras and non-penetrating roof mounts for rapid installation. All AI features remain optional, allowing customers to retain data control. The product complements LVT's existing offerings, including GuardGate for access control and licence plate recognition systems. LVT Releases License Plate Recognition Capabilities Powered by Insight LPR for Private Sector Customers

LVT releases License Plate Recognition capabilities powered by Insight LPR for private sector customers. February 26, 2026 LVT, the leader in rapidly deployable security solutions, announced a strategic partnership for License Plate Recognition (LPR) capabilities powered by Insight LPR, to be generally available in May. This advanced solution, which can be seamlessly affixed to LVT's mobile units, is purpose-built for private-sector customers across retail, transportation, construction, property management, and commercial environments. For data privacy, LPR data is securely confined to an individual customer's environment. Customers retain full control of their data, including the option to authorize sharing with third parties. LVT's LPR powered by Insight allows users to receive automated alerts in under ten seconds when a vehicle of interest is detected on-site. Utilizing high-resolution sensors effective up to 120 feet, the system captures license plate data, vehicle color, and type with 98 percent accuracy across diverse environmental conditions. This partnership focuses on providing security teams with precise, actionable data to improve incident response and crime prevention. "License plate recognition is one of the most effective tools to protect against repeat offenders and organized retail crime (ORC)," said George Bentinck, chief product officer at LVT. "By pairing Insight LPR's exceptional accuracy rate with LVT's Intelligent Site Management platform, we are giving security teams the power to move from reactive monitoring to proactive interception. This is possible while our customers retain full control of their data, including the option to authorize sharing with third parties, such as law enforcement." The LVT LPR Solution powered by Insight enables: * Instant Hotlist Notifications: Vehicles associated with theft, fraud, or unauthorized access trigger immediate alerts the moment they're detected - giving security teams time to intervene before incidents occur. We identify, cross-reference, and alert in real-time. Proactive protection, not reactive investigation. * All-Condition Reliability: High-fidelity imaging that outperforms standard CCTV in low-light, high-speed, and inclement weather scenarios. * Precision: 98 percent accuracy rate, day or night. * Actionable Evidence: Advanced search and predictive analytics transform raw scan data into prosecutable intelligence. Identify vehicle patterns across locations and generate time-stamped documentation that stands up in court. Evidence that closes cases, not just captures plates. * Localized Data Control: Data collection is restricted to the individual customer's environment. Customers maintain the right to authorize sharing, and any compilation of anonymized or aggregated data is only done to enhance ILPR's offerings and, with customer consent, to support law enforcement efforts in accordance with CJIS-compliant security standards. "The numbers tell the story: 70 percent of crimes involve a vehicle, yet 80 percent go unsolved because investigators lack actionable evidence. Insight LPR bridges that gap. We built our platform to do one thing exceptionally well - capture vehicle evidence that helps turn unsolved cases into closed ones, supporting our mission to make communities and businesses safer through LPR technology," said John Nethery, chief executive officer at Insight LPR. "LVT's mission aligns perfectly with ours, and we admire their proven success in leading security forward with purpose-built solutions. Together, we can enhance safety without compromising customer security or public trust." Insight LPR technology is currently trusted in over 1,500 US cities. Eligible organizations can learn more about how to add LPR powered by Insight to their LVT solutions at lvt.com/lpr.

Protect Your Business This Holiday Season: On-Site vs. Patrol Security

Protect your business this holiday season: on-site vs. Patrol security. As the holiday season approaches, many businesses experience a surge in activity - and with it, unique holiday business security challenges. Whether your business is hosting festive gatherings, extending operating hours, or managing seasonal inventory, having the right security plan is essential. On-Site security: consistent protection you can count on. With on-site security, a dedicated officer remains stationed at your location, providing continuous, visible protection. This approach is ideal for: * Retailers managing high foot traffic on Black Friday and beyond * Organizations hosting large holiday events * Property managers concerned about building access or overnight risks An on-site officer not only deters potential threats through their presence but also responds immediately to incidents and becomes a trusted, familiar face for your team and customers. Patrol services: flexible coverage for multiple sites. For businesses with lower foot traffic, multiple locations, or large outdoor spaces, patrol services offer adaptable security coverage. Uniformed security officers conduct routine and randomized site checks - an effective strategy for: * Shopping centers with several buildings * Businesses that close during certain hours * Warehouses or lots requiring after-hours oversight Patrol services provide peace of mind without the cost of a full-time presence, making them a smart, cost-effective holiday security solution. Enhancing your security plan with autonomous and mobile units. To further strengthen your business security during the holidays, DK Security offers advanced autonomous security and mobile security units. Through its partnerships with Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) and LiveView Technologies (LVT), DK Security, Inc. deploy cutting-edge tools such as technology security, solar-powered mobile camera towers, and remote monitoring systems. These solutions provide 24/7 surveillance, motion detection, and instant alerts - helping identify and deter potential threats even before they escalate. Autonomous security and mobile security units are particularly effective for properties with large perimeters, parking lots, or temporary setups, where additional surveillance enhances both efficiency and safety during the busy holiday season. Which security solution is right for your business? Choosing the right security strategy depends on your environment, risk level, and activity patterns this time of year. Large crowds or high-value inventory: On-site security offers strong deterrence and immediate response. For intermittent or multi-location security needs: Patrol services combined with autonomous and mobile units offer flexible, efficient, and cost-effective protection. Still unsure which security approach is right for your business? DK Security's team can evaluate your risks and create a customized plan, combining on-site, patrol, and autonomous and mobile security unit solutions to protect your people, property, and profits throughout the holiday season.
