Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, working in cloud computing environments, preferably GCP.
  • Professional experience in Kubernetes.
  • Ability to code, preferably, but not limited, in Go, and a good understanding of cloud deployments, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Experience with modern DevOps tools and practices, including GitOps (especially FluxCD), Kubernetes Operators and the Grafana stack.
  • A proactive attitude towards teamwork and open-mindedness, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach, with a readiness to learn and contribute to team success. Should demonstrate a commitment to improving their technical and customer service skills.
  • Fluent in English, with problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
Responsibilities
  • Engage in the automation of processes using an advanced technology stack including GCP, Kubernetes, Istio, FluxCD, and the LGTM-stack, aiming to minimize manual intervention
  • Collaborate with product teams to address technical challenges, design new systems, and improve the scalability, observability, and alerting of our systems
  • Work within the Platform Squad to provide essential services to all Ankorstore teams, enhancing the platform's reliability and performance
  • Drive initiatives to reduce ongoing toil and focus on strategic improvements that matter.
  • Participate in on-call rotations (daily rotation across all engineers) for handling incidents, contributing to our goal of achieving operational excellence and high availability
