Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • The driving record must be acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
  • Prior computer and customer service experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is required.
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute is required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and maneuver more than 50 pounds is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, service advisors, technicians, and the public is required.

  • Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds is required.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the worker's head is required.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs is required.
  • Manual-transmission driving ability is required.
  • Ability to efficiently use a computer is required.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the workday is required.
  • Ability to use hand tools with sufficient dexterity is required.
Responsibilities
  • Receive all incoming parts in TekMetric and deliver them to the technician.
  • Organize and manage the parts return shelf for local and dealership returns.
  • Track returns and credits in TekMetric.
  • Label all pre-ordered parts with printed repair orders and scheduled appointment dates.
  • Queue vendor returns in the appropriate return portal.
  • Process parts warranty claims and monitor reimbursement status.
  • Maintain and update accounts receivable tracking spreadsheets.
  • Check bulk oil levels and order oil when needed.
  • Track stocked cabin and engine air filters and order them as needed.
  • Coordinate with technicians to assess parts needs, order necessary parts, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Perform daily and monthly parts reconciliation.
  • Track parts returns and warranty payments.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for parts vendors.
Desired Qualifications
  • High school education is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus.
