Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Epic builds.
  • Epic certification in one or more modules, with Resolute Hospital Billing Administration and Claims and Remittance highly preferred.
  • The role requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects weighing 0-25 pounds.
  • The role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot, leg, hand, and arm movements.

Responsibilities
  • Build requirements and translate them into configuration and business process changes using knowledge of standard workflows.
  • Provide routine maintenance and standard build for Epic applications and systems using existing internal processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze Epic vendor software updates and their impact on the business for Epic applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderately complex application issues and provide end-user support for Epic applications.
  • Code complex functions, including building application tables and reports for Epic applications.
  • Update testing scripts to incorporate ongoing system development and implementations.
  • Act as a resource for Epic colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with manageable risk and resource requirements.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and organize technical requirement specifications using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision-making.
  • Solve complex problems, take new perspectives on existing solutions, and exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Configure, implement, support, and maintain applications and technical integrations, specifically Epic applications, to meet organizational needs.
  • Serve as a coordinator and collaborate with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users, and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing Administration and Claims and Remittance is highly preferred.
