The Head of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) will define and lead the strategy and execution of Brightree’ s RCM Services as part of the ResMed SaaS portfolio. The Head of RCM services is accountable for RCM revenue growth, increasing operational efficiency, and effectively managing the multi-million dollar investment of resources in both U.S. and offshore areas. This role will represent the thought leadership of Brightree’s RCM services to the U.S. HME/HI industry and develop innovative strategies to apply modern technology solutions in the areas of workflow automation, data analytics and AI/ML to the RCM business. They will be a great influencer and team player while understanding the wider Brightree strategy and direction and how it all fits with the global ResMed SaaS RCM strategy. Key activities include:

- Responsible for revenue growth, margin expansion, and profitability of the RCM services business.
- Responsible for defining the strategy for RCM and delivering on its execution.
- Significant focus on leveraging modern technology solutions to deliver a higher level of customer satisfaction and margin growth for the RCM business.
- Responsible for the achievement of service level agreements and overall customer satisfaction of the RCM business.
- Leads a team of highly motivated directors, managers, and team members in both the U.S and offshore areas to ensure team and customer satisfaction while successfully growing revenue, margins, and profits.
- Collaborate with cross functional SaaS teams on RCM strategy, planning, and execution.
- Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of off-shore third party RCM vendors focusing on resource planning, service level performance, and quality while growing operating margins.
- Accountable for the multi-million-dollar investment of resources that will continue to grow in both the local and remote areas.
- Through proactive issue resolution and appropriate escalation path processes, ensures achievement of quality and turnaround time service level agreements.
- Serves as mentor to team for cultivating success in team’s abilities to identify issues through the monitoring of error queues, task assignments, customer communications and performance reports and takes timely action to resolve the issues.
- Collaborates with worldwide resources to ensure effective knowledge, information sharing and quick resolution of service performance issues.
- Provides escalation point for high touch customer care for assigned customers, consistently demonstrating subject matter expertise to manage and respond with urgency, clarity, competence, and swift fulfilment of all service requests.
- Interfaces with appropriate team members and leadership to provide data-based process and actions necessary for identification and escalation of unresolved customer issues.
- Monitors and reports customer satisfaction levels to ensure compliance with service level agreements and issue resolution.
- Drives delivery of service excellent in a critical environment by being a proactive and hands-on leader.
- Collaborates with the Brightree key stakeholders to conceive, construct and advance business and technology solutions to support organizational projects and initiatives.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Minimum of 10 years related experience in P&L responsibilities for an RCM business to include operations, customer contracting and relations, billing workflows, and financial analysis, preferably in the HME/DM, HHP or healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a relevant field required
- Strong people leadership capabilities, with the ability to create a culture of followership and excellence
- Exceptional business consulting skills with the ability to forge relationships, facilitate discussions and drive to resolution with both internal and external stakeholders
- Passionate about technology, a natural, credible evangelist, and experienced in translating that passion into business impact for customers
- Exceptional consultative and communication skills
- Self-starter, results driven, highly motivated, high energy, with a proven track record of exceeding objectives
- Ability to analyze and assess existing client needs and requirements through a consultative process
- Confident, and assertive, with a drive to be the best
- Highly organized
- Demonstrated leadership competencies, with experience as an exceptional relationship manager and collaborator in the corporate group or business unit level of a dynamic company
- Prior people management experience required, preferably in a medium to large size entrepreneurial office
- Demonstrated leadership in building, managing and growing enterprise-wide initiatives in a large, high transaction, client focused, 24x7, critical complex environment
- Experience developing and fostering external relationships with customers and internal inter-departmental relationships between Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Customer Support, Software Development and Operations
- Advanced proficiency in all MS Office products. Advanced analytical experience
- Thorough understanding of HME/DME is preferred, post-acute care medical billing a must
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
