Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • 2 years of relevant CT experience Required
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
Responsibilities
  • Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment
  • Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner
  • Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
  • Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues
  • Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Assists in and facilitates employee development
