Requirements
  • A Master of Business Administration, Master of Hospital Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Bachelor of Hotel Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Three to ten years of experience in administration, preferably in a hospital, hospitality, or corporate setting.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage housekeeping, security, cafeteria, laundry, and support staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and discipline within hospital premises.
  • Track hospital insurance renewals, cost-reduction strategies, and claims processing.
  • Ensure statutory and legal compliance, including license renewals and coordination with BMC, MMRDA, Police, MPCB, and labor officials.
  • Monitor annual maintenance contracts and negotiate contracts.
  • Implement daily energy-conservation measures and track energy consumption.
  • Control administrative expenses, including vehicle, phone, and operational costs.
  • Optimize housekeeping chemical usage and monitor daily consumption to minimize wastage.
  • Oversee revenue generation from parking, scrap sales, and facility rentals.
  • Ensure compliance with security service-level agreements and monitor closed-circuit television operations.
  • Supervise controlled entry and exit, vehicle checks, and patient assistance.
  • Conduct monthly surprise security checks and enforce visitor policies.
  • Organize fire drills and evacuation training for employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in hospital premises, including washrooms and common areas.
  • Oversee weekly buffing schedules and compliance with daily targets.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of hospital hostels and ensure maintenance meets standards.
  • Monitor hospital assets and interior repairs, ensuring timely completion.
  • Oversee contract renewals and vendor service-level agreements, including payments and compliance with Provident Fund, Employees' State Insurance Corporation, and other statutory requirements.
  • Address theft, pilferage, and service-level deviations.
  • Conduct monthly audits to track compliance with hospital policies.
  • Ensure cafeteria service quality, hygiene, and raw material quality.
  • Monitor staff training on phone etiquette, prompt service, and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee café sales revenue and control unauthorized expenses.
  • Ensure monthly soft-skills training for staff.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and implement corrective actions for service improvement.
  • Track and implement improvement initiatives in response to audit findings and patient feedback.
