Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience working in financial industry, preferably Cash Management or Transaction Banking
  • 5+ years of in depth domain knowledge in payment products such as Fedwire, ACH and checks
  • 3+ years of experience in hand on agile development in a product owner role, including creating user stories, backlog refinement
  • Strong Product Management background – adept in Human Centered Design, strong understanding of technical concepts and strong business acumen
  • Strong knowledge in developing client facing channels such as Host to Host connections, API integrations, SWIFT enablements and industry standard formats like ISO XML, and NACHA
  • Client centric and innovative mindset in product design
  • Familiar with legal and compliance obligation related to payment processing
  • Ability to work with JIRA in agile squad structure
  • Ability to produce business process flows
  • Ability to listen and engage stakeholders and effectively align others around a common goal
  • Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
  • A good understanding of innovative technologies and current technology trends
  • Working knowledge in the pricing strategy for payment product in the industry
  • Startup mindset (comfortable with quick pace, quick change, ambiguities)

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to establishing the vision and the road map for RBC Clear’s payment products including Fedwire, SWIFT, ACH, Checks, RTP and cross currency (FX) payment
  • Champion differentiating client experiences and product innovation to drive adoption of RBC Clear payment products
  • Subject matter expert in end to end payment processing for high value and/or low value payment rails
  • Act as the voice of the client in all aspect of product management life cycle, including but not limited to drafting, grooming and prioritizing end to end EPICs and user stories, drafting business process flow, supporting FUT, SIT and UAT and performing GTM tasks along with other functions within RBC
  • Participate clients discussion and advise client solution related to payment products
  • Collaborate with other product domains (such as client channel, liquidity, FX and data) in RBC Clear to drive end to end design and experience of payment clients experience
  • Collaborate with cross divisional teams such as operations, legal, compliance and risk where required to progress the product development and product launch
  • Contribute to the Go-to-Market readiness for product roll outs, such as providing training and support to teams in Operations, Client Services, Sales and other functional areas
  • Stay current or participate industry forum where required such as AFP and / or Nacha conference (remote or in person) to gain industry and client insight and support of future and emerging products development.
