This candidate will join a well-funded, fast-growing technology startup with a unique opportunity to develop and establish a key function within the company.

As a Business Analyst within our data team, you will play a vital role in helping BuildOps customers achieve success by transforming their data into actionable insights. Working closely with the Customer Success team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering customized reports and dashboards that empower our customers to unlock the full potential of the BuildOps platform. What you will do:

• Customer Collaboration:
• Collaborate with our Customer Success, Support, & Implementation teams to understand customer reporting needs.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on progress and ensure a tailored solution for maximum impact.
• Report & Dashboard Development:
• Design, develop, and deliver customized reports and dashboards using tools such as Sigma Computing.
• Work with CSMs and Product to build “Best Practice Reporting Packages” tailored to specific client profiles (based on size, trade, department structure, etc.)
• Business Analysis & Insights:
• Analyze customer data to uncover trends, provide actionable insights, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Present insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
• Process Optimization & Standardization:
• Develop and maintain a repository of standardized and customized reporting templates for efficiency and consistency.
• Continuously optimize reporting processes to improve turnaround times and enhance the value provided to customers.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Partner with internal technical teams to address data gaps, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers & Data Engineers to provide customer feedback on Reporting usability and/or functionality gaps.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, report writing, or a similar role, preferably in a Customer Success or SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI) 
• Proficiency in SQLand Python.
• Advanced Excel and python skills Proficiency:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey insights effectively to diverse audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with CRM platforms and/or business analysis in the trades is a plus.
