Daniel Farkas joins SoSafe as Chief Revenue Officer. SoSafe, a notable European entity in security awareness training and human risk management, has announced the immediate appointment of Daniel Farkas as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Peter Grausgruber as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2026. These strategic hires mark an important step for the company as it embarks on a new phase of growth and expansion. In his new role, Daniel Farkas will oversee all functions related to revenue generation, including sales, partnerships, marketing, and customer success. He aims to enhance customer relationships and drive the company's success in these areas. Daniel Farkas brings over two decades of experience in scaling saas and digital businesses. Previously, he served in prominent sales and revenue leadership positions at staffbase, contributing to its growth from €20 million ARR to €130 million ARR. His professional journey also includes key roles at Box and Accenture, reflecting a noteworthy track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering substantial value to clients across international markets. His role as CFO at Bitpanda saw an increase in revenue to over €300 million, while at Fourthline, he played a crucial part in scaling the finance function and organization to profitability. His combination of consultancy foundations and scale-up experience positions him as a valuable asset to SoSafe's growth plans. 87% of security professionals report that their organisation has encountered an AI-driven cyberattack in the last year, according to a new study by SoSafe, Europe’s largest security awareness and human risk management solution.The finding comes from SoSafe’s 2025 Cybercrime Trends, a comprehensive survey of 500 global security professionals as well as 100 SoSafe customers across 10 countries. It examines social engineering tactics and the escalating risks facing organisations.The report also highlights a growing global tension between the widespread adoption of AI and the inherent security risks that it can pose. Notably, 91% of all security experts anticipate a significant surge in AI-driven threats over the next three years.
