Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Arts or Bachelor’s in Science, plus 5 years marketing/sales/related experience or Associate’s Degree with 7 years of experience, required
  • Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Great motivational skills
  • Experience with people with disabilities/youth a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior EBS operations and program managers and to develop and maintain sites, disseminate information, and provide top quality customer service to all EBS customers.
  • Proven track record (Professional portfolio) in securing service contracts and developing employment opportunities
  • New York or Tri-State driver’s license in good standing, preferred
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise Marketing and Sales Region assigned
  • Ensure that the region and Account Executives under supervision meet region’s job placement goals every quarter
  • Develop employment opportunities for people supported as outlined in the Addendum #1 attached
  • Promote widespread, positive image/knowledge of AHRC’s Employment & Business Services
  • Hire and supervise of Account Executives (AE)
  • Assess performance of Account Executives under direct supervision, train new marketing staff, and coordinate placement activity
  • Ensure excellent customer service to all customers
  • Actively participate in internal and external networking events
  • Actively organize networking events to develop linkages with potential employers and to promote AHRC brand
  • Develop and maintain marketing strategy targeting successful creation of jobs for people supported
  • Create and complete action plans targeting a specific line of business, employers, type of job, etc.
  • Develop valued relationships with businesses/ employers. Maintain and expand customer base
  • Provide best job matching for job seekers and employers
  • Ensure customized employment is a priority for the marketing team
  • Coordinate the day to day responsibilities of Account Executives
  • At a minimum, the RSM will be required to bring new business, in the form of a service contract that provides employment to two or more people supported on a quarterly basis
  • Develop employment opportunities for existing NYSID workers in experienced porter positions. At a minimum, six employees will need to transition from NYSID contracts
  • Required to travel throughout the 5 boroughs and in and out of state as needed
  • Prepare and deliver marketing presentations as needed
  • Conduct other responsibilities as assigned
