  • Candidates must have a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and reliable and prompt attendance.
  • Candidates must be capable of working in and being exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
  • Candidates must be able to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience.
  • Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
  • Observe team members, provide feedback, hold them accountable, and recognize strong guest experience performance.
  • Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take corrective action, align the team on behaviors and execution, celebrate wins, drive results, and elevate the guest experience.
  • Understand sales goals, plan daily and weekly workloads with guidance from the direct leader, and execute plans to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
  • Plan merchandising and pricing workloads and make changes to sales-floor merchandise displays, sales plans, and promotions.
  • Model, train, and coach team members on service expectations.
  • Ensure products are in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing products with guidance from the direct leader, maintain stock levels and inventory accuracy, and execute product arrangement, pricing, and promotional-signing processes.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, aligned with weekly and monthly priorities.
  • Help lead team members in department backroom and sales-floor areas, review reporting to identify gaps, and develop plans to resolve them according to the leader’s direction.
  • Lead pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work when applicable for the location.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.
  • Participate in team onboarding and learning.
  • Close knowledge and skill gaps through training and experiences with guidance from the direct leader.
  • Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable with guidance from the direct leader.
  • Value diverse voices and approaches and create equitable experiences.
  • Maintain ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, and hold the team accountable to these standards.
  • Lead the safety culture by modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding the team accountable to safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting and investigating injuries accurately and promptly.
  • Execute physical security processes to enhance the in-store security culture.
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the store, including ordering, storage, and application as directed by best practices.
  • Execute best practices through team onboarding, learning, development, coaching, and team interactions.
  • Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Assume store-level Leader on Duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs.
  • Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.

  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
