Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university, and plan to graduate after the final day of the internship.
  • Graduation date cannot be prior to August 8, 2025.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year accredited university in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or other quantitative subject areas.
  • Up to 2 years’ experience conducting research, applying information and analysis for work deliverables.
  • Communication/presentation experience.
  • Proven high attention to detail in execution of deliverables.
  • Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions to tackle problems.
  • 0 to 2 years related quantitative analysis experience in a subject area relevant to risk management to include statistical analysis, modeling, mathematics or other quantitative field strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding with SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other analytical / risk tools.
  • Experience working in a banking or financial industry.
  • Graduation date between August 09, 2025, and December 2025.
Responsibilities
  • Executes analytical processes to assess risks and opportunities across the Bank’s consumer portfolios.
  • Supports team members to deliver bank risk strategy by optimally providing analytical insights to peers and management.
  • Begins conducting quantitative analysis utilizing extensive internal and external data sources.
  • Executes qualitative analysis to support the team in departmental decision making.
  • Research credit, product, and/or risk proposals and utilizes critical thinking skills to provide feedback in support of strong portfolio performance outcomes.
  • Learns to maintain effective risk management frameworks which can identify, measure, or mitigate risk.
  • Develops, maintains, and utilizes established reporting to supervise and escalate bank risks.
  • May execute financial risk sensitivity analysis, credit and/or financial modeling infrastructure.
  • Performs routine tasks under direct supervision and within established procedures and guidelines.
