Responsibilities
  • Serve as the single point of business focus for designated customer programs and manage customer expectations through program team processes.
  • Understand customer expectations and business requirements, refine them into specific deliverables, and maintain a broad view of program needs.
  • Manage cross-functional customer program teams and communicate program requirements to functional and business management on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure Vanguard management remains appropriately engaged in the program.
  • Conduct regular internal and customer program reviews to assess program status and results.
  • Ensure the program maintains an acceptable level of profitability.
  • Separate business issues requiring attention from issues handled through normal functional processes.
  • Ensure appropriate cross-functional projects and problem-solving activities address program issues.
  • Maintain sufficient technical depth and managerial skill to address customer issues and resource priorities.
  • Identify, pursue, and win new business from existing customers.
  • Build customer and senior-management confidence that program requirements are and will be met.
  • Communicate proactively to solve program problems authoritatively and minimize program risks.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business or another related field.
  • Two years of experience working directly for an Electronics Manufacturing Services provider, a printed circuit board fabrication supplier, an electronic component distributor, or a similar organization.
