Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in a client-facing sales role in information technology professional services or consulting (ERP, Cloud, Data, Internet of Things).
  • Demonstrated expertise and a strong network within the automotive manufacturing industry in Michigan or Ohio.
  • A strong background in a program, project, and managed services environments.
  • A proven track record in building long-term client relationships through the creation of value and developing a strong reference base.
  • A deep knowledge of the automotive manufacturing domain and innovation in industrial areas, including understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Able to anticipate technology and market trends and provide guidance and feedback to the business.
  • Able to deliver high levels of client satisfaction and client engagement.
  • A resident of Michigan or Ohio, preferably in or around Detroit, MI or Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities
  • Leading sales and solution development with Automotive, Original Equipment Manufacturer and Tier 1/Tier 2 customers with full accountability for engagement and relationship management.
  • Driving the sales cycle including opportunity identification, scoping, proposal development, Statement of Work production and contracting.
  • Building and expanding relationships with key customer business stakeholders to uncover opportunities for revenue generation and account growth and establish the role as a thought leader.
  • Bringing automotive manufacturing industry expertise to our clients.

Hitachi Digital Services launches Manufacturing Operations Management platform to accelerate smart factory transformation

Hitachi Digital Services has launched a Manufacturing Operations Management platform to strengthen integration between operational and information technology systems. The platform aims to transform discrete manufacturing sites into smart factories and expand Hitachi's HMAX Industry solutions portfolio. Built on open, modular architecture, the MOM platform delivers real-time traceability from design through manufacturing, enables data-driven decision-making, and supports scalable workflows. The technology has been refined across over 100 manufacturing sites and will initially power Hitachi Group factories through a "Customer Zero" approach. The platform targets asset-heavy sectors including energy, high tech, manufacturing and transportation. Hitachi plans to integrate the MOM capabilities with advanced AI to address Industry 5.0 challenges such as scalability and supply chain integration.
