As our first People Operations Lead reporting to our COO, you will be integral to our team, managing various aspects of HR operations and employee lifecycle management. You will own initiatives from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and a positive experience for all employees.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead the revamping of our onboarding and offboarding processes and act as the main contact for new hires to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
Support the open enrollment process, address employee inquiries regarding benefits packages, and manage parental leave requests
Manage performance review and engagement surveys processes from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of continuous feedback and development
Create and update HR documents including the employee handbook
Serve as the go-to person for anything regarding HR/People Operations
Enhance our company culture by planning team events, office parties, and virtual social events
Handle office management duties, including ordering supplies, setting up workstations for new hires, and assisting with office moves
Who you are:
5+ years of HR operations at a startup, preferably with exposure to rapid growth phases
High EQ and a demonstrated ability to empathize with and support employees
Lead and manage projects from conception to completion with a strong ownership mentality
Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset, with a passion for refining and improving processes
Excellent written communication skills, capable of drafting clear and concise documentation
Enthusiastic about company culture and experienced in planning and executing events that promote a sense of belonging
PHR or SHRM certification, a plus
Familiarity with HR systems such as Rippling and Lattice, a plus
Location
Candid Health is an in-person team with offices in New York, San Francisco and Denver and people are expected to be in office 4 days a week.
Pay Transparency
The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $120,000-$165,000 USD. The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Given Candid Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
