Internal Audit Manager – Corporate Audit
Location: Hybrid/Corporate Office | Up to 30% Travel

We’re looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our Corporate Audit team. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful audit projects, mentor and develop team members, and partner with senior leadership to strengthen internal controls and drive operational excellence.

About the Role
The Internal Audit Manager plays a key role in delivering independent, objective, and risk-based audit and advisory services across our corporate operations. This position is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of audit engagements—from planning and scoping through execution and reporting—while building strong relationships with business leaders and supporting the growth of the internal audit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit projects that may be enterprise-wide or corporate in scope, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.

• Conduct risk assessments and design audit programs for complex or high-risk business processes.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and constructively to senior management, providing insights that add value and enhance operational effectiveness.

• Prepare concise, well-supported audit reports that align with the organization's risk appetite and internal audit standards.

• Serve as a mentor and coach to junior auditors, providing feedback and guidance to support their development.

• Build strong working relationships with business partners to understand processes, identify emerging risks, and collaborate on practical solutions.

• Provide advisory support on new systems, processes, or organizational initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of five years of professional internal or external audit experience and at least three years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CMA, or CFE) preferred or in progress.

• Strong understanding of internal audit standards, COSO frameworks, SOX requirements, and applicable accounting and regulatory guidance (GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior and executive management.

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical conduct.

• Experience in the poultry or food manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.

Work Environment and Travel

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods as needed.

• Occasional travel (approximately 10–30%) to corporate and plant locations for audit assignments.

• May require participation in inventory observations at facilities such as plants, feed mills, hatcheries, or coolers.

• Adherence to company safety policies and use of personal protective equipment where required.
