Requirements
  • At least 2 years of customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work assigned or flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit qualified candidates for the college’s academic programs in a compliant, appropriate, and professional manner.
  • Provide information, guidance, and assistance to potential students regarding enrollment and the admissions process.
  • Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems, taking appropriate action in compliance with policy, procedures, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Use approved admissions materials during telephone calls, interviews, and the enrollment process.
  • Take inquiry calls and provide accurate information about programs, entrance requirements, curricula, and academic standards.
  • Return web inquiries and calls promptly.
  • Make outbound calls to prospective students who have expressed interest in attending the institution.
  • Participate in organized phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns.
  • Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business when not responding to inquiries or working with prospective students.
  • Follow up with inquiries that do not result in scheduled or attended interviews.
  • Follow up with interviews that do not progress through enrollment and with dropped or cancelled students to resolve issues and concerns.
  • Schedule and conduct student interviews in accordance with company policy.
  • Explain program offerings and match the college’s benefits and advantages to student needs.
  • Discuss and advise on suitable programs based on students’ desires, qualifications, and objectives.
  • Ensure admissions management meets with potential students and is informed about their motivations and concerns.
  • Provide routine advice and assistance regarding available programs, eligibility requirements, policies, procedures, and admissions documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and campus, make enrollment forms available, and assist students with completing them.
  • Review applications and related documentation for compliance, partner with Finance during the transition, and follow up to ensure financial aid packaging is complete.
  • Mentor and advise students in identifying their skills and interests.
  • Address easily resolved inquiries and refer more difficult issues to experienced staff members when necessary.
  • Account for all inquiries and associated admissions activity accurately.
  • Complete daily activity reports.
  • Ensure pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Keep required reports and system information current and accurate.
  • Attend and successfully complete required training.
  • Attend meetings as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintain regular, in-person attendance on campus up to five days per week.
  • Collaborate on-site with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Perform other duties assigned by local leaders.
