Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Receive and stock freight.
  • Pull and prepare furniture for the delivery company.
  • Prepare and unbox products according to La-Z-Boy specifications.
  • Review products against paperwork to verify order completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with loading and unloading furniture and accessories on and off trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Perform product preparation, reuse or recycling of revenue commodities, and 5S responsibilities.
  • Scan furniture in the computer system when receiving, moving, or loading it.
  • Receive returned furniture from delivery trucks and place it in the correct locations.
  • Properly package products being returned to vendors and attach all corresponding paperwork.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preference may be given to candidates with prior distribution center, warehouse, or furniture experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • OSHA certification is preferred.

The company said the 150,000-square-foot facility will serve as a centralized distribution hub within its U.S. supply chain network.
