Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience with marketing automation and marketing software tools including Marketing Cloud and HubSpot
  • Salesforce superuser (Certification a plus) 2-3+ years working with Marketing Cloud
  • Ability to lead content management resources both internal and external, as well as web development resources as needed
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis
  • Experience coding and editing utilizing HTML/CSS and working knowledge and use of SQL
  • Able to work with colleagues at all levels to develop marketing goals and evaluate results
  • Strong writing skills are a plus, especially in crafting communications that persuade prospects to engage and act
  • Experience handling relationships with external partners, including budgets, overall account management, etc
  • Experience working collaboratively and being an outstanding partner with cross-functional teams
  • Preferred but not required: Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or biotech

Responsibilities
  • Design, write, build, and deploy email marketing campaigns, landing pages and forms to attract and nurture sales leads, convert and retain customers through our marketing automation system
  • Build workflows, templates and processes to run email & SMS campaigns efficiently within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Develop and test email and SMS content for dynamic content and personalization based on data and audience attributes
  • Own the scheduling and deployment of all email requests across multiple businesses and audiences and provide recommendations to prevent email fatigue
  • Work with marketing teammates to develop, document, and implement journeys using Journey Builder and Automation Studio to sync data between Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
  • Function as the institutional expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for various functions and departments
  • Lead totality of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem from overall account management and implementation of new features to support end-users to ensure high adoption levels of functionality and features
  • Set up dashboards and campaign reporting, supervise campaign success, recommend strategies & tactics to optimize conversion rates, and implement testing practices
  • Ensure email templates are accurately developed and in compliance with all branding requirements
  • Adopt a test-and-learn demeanor, and dig for useful insight within data by applying response analysis, A/B testing, and best practices to optimize all aspects of the email program
  • Ensures all program assets and data management programs adhere to legal compliance including CANSPAM, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc
