Assists in the coordination, supervision and administration of the Ohio International Agricultural & Horticultural Intern Program; prepares orientation materials for incoming participants; assist in the placement of participants by checking application data; assists in the preparation of all paperwork needed to issue J-1 visas; collect monthly reports from participants, responds to questions, solves minor issues; assists with publication of pertinent information about the program via social media; drives participants to airport, bus station and campus during their orientation; assists with mandatory host businesses and participants on-site visits.
This position is term, with an initial appointment for one year with potential to be extended pending successful performance and available funding.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in agriculture or business administration.
